Digital Marketing Campaign Manager: Global B2B – Cape Town

A wonderful opportunity has arisen for a mid-weight Digital Marketing Campaign Manager at a super Marketing company in Cape Town. We’re looking for a highly motivated, creative and professional person to take control of the strategy and execution of Social Media, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, and demand generation email communication campaigns to create demand in global target vertical markets.  In this role you will be responsible for the execution of all external and internal communication campaigns that enable Brand awareness growth in target vertical markets; demand generation – delivering Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) in chosen global markets; sales revenue growth (new business development); client retention and profitability growth (customer loyalty) and keeping all stakeholders up to date with important company information (regular newscasts).

 

Responsibilities

  • Participate in crafting a Marketing, Advertising and Communication strategy across the group.
  • Co-create a PPC and Social Media strategy, budget and implementation plan.
  • Design and manage demand generation campaigns to ensure delivery of high quality MQLs to the regions.
  • Co-create and manage the internal communication campaign to facilitate effective email communication across the group.
  • Grow brand awareness breadth and depth in target vertical markets
  • Introduce the company to the right people who meet the desired persona profile and demographic requirements via PPC, social media and segmented email campaigns.
  • Collaboratively design, deliver and report on channel awareness campaigns that aim to draw new names into the marketing automation system which will ultimately convert into prospects through: PPC advertising, email campaigns, regional alignment of marketing efforts and activities, Social Media (Facebook, LinkedIn, WordPress Blog and Twitter)
  • Work closely with the Sales Alignment team to ensure alignment of communication for brand awareness, attraction and loyalty strategies.
  • Collaborate and co-create annual brand awareness and launch/strategy updates to be communicated at global events and via Digital media campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyse business performance vis-à-vis business goals (brand awareness and demand generation).
  • Deliver internal and external presentations regarding new product introductions, marketing materials, business objectives and communication strategy.
  • Participate in crafting a sales and marketing strategy for the group, Products Division and the Marketing department.
  • Design and manage demand generation campaigns to ensure delivery of high quality MQLs to the regions
  • Partner with the Sales Alignment Managers to facilitate the attraction of high quality prospects that meet our standard into the database.
  • Collaborate with Sales Alignment to create a campaign framework that will deliver to best practice standards. This includes a set of global demand generation email campaigns which take into account the buyer journey (from awareness through to evaluation and on to purchase), persona, content needs and lead scoring, to achieve marketing’s MQL KPI and contribute to the fulfilment of Sales KPIs (MQL to SQL, SQL to OPP and OPP to Win).
  • Collaborate with the content creation team to ensure delivery of the campaign plans.
  • Collaborate with all campaign stakeholders to get buy-in and sign off of the campaign plan within 6 weeks of any campaign plan changes.
  • Manage demand generation campaigns in Pardot Marketing Automation System to track and measure efficacy and delivery to target.
  • Manage MQL scoring rules and profile criteria in the marketing automation system.
  • Measure global email campaign efficacy and report any challenges and successes to the relevant stakeholders. Table recommendations for improvements.
  • Co-create and manage the internal communication campaign to facilitate effective email communication across the group
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to create a campaign framework that will deliver to best practice standards of an internal communication email campaign which takes into account all personas, locations and content needs.
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to get buy-in and sign off of the campaign plan within 6 weeks of any campaign plan changes.
  • Measure global email campaign efficacy and report any challenges and successes to the relevant stakeholders. Table recommendations for improvements.

 

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Relevant Degree
  • Expert user of Marketing automation, CRM systems and planning systems
  • Office 2007/2010
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel
  • Experience in B2B Sales and Marketing
  • Proven skills in Strategy Development
  • Proven skills in demand generation in the B2B environment
