We have a delicious on-site opportunity for a dynamic Mid-Weight Brand Manager at a well-loved, iconic South African restaurant Group’s Cape Town HQ.
The Brand Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic brand initiatives to enhance brand equity and drive business growth.
The successful candidate will work closely with franchisees, marketing teams, agencies, and external partners to create and execute marketing campaigns across multiple platforms, including TV, radio, and digital. If you’re an expert at building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and utilising creative strategies to elevate brand presence and achieve measurable results, you will soar in this role.
The key focus areas of this position include kids’ marketing, promotions, and product innovation.

Knowledge and Experience
- Brand, PR, and Reputation Management: Proven experience in developing and executing strategies to manage and enhance brand reputation, with a strong focus on social, economic, and consumer behaviour insights.
- Creative Direction: Expertise in creative design and direction, ensuring brand identity is effectively communicated and aligned with market trends.
- Traditional Marketing: Solid understanding of traditional marketing channels (TV, OOH, radio) and their integration into broader marketing campaigns.
- Media: Experience in engaging with agencies, optimising media strategies, and utilising media buying methodologies for maximum reach and impact.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage market insights, consumer behaviour analysis, and trend data to inform strategic decisions.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills, ensuring campaigns and initiatives are delivered on time and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Campaign Execution & Optimisation: Expertise in managing end-to-end campaigns, with a focus on performance tracking, optimisation, and results-driven outcomes.
- Digital Marketing: Skilled in digital marketing strategies, with a focus on driving online engagement, conversion, and ROI.
- Vendor & Service Provider Management: Experience in managing relationships with service providers, negotiating contracts, and overseeing legal agreements.
- Budgeting & Financial Management: Strong fiscal discipline with expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Strategic Partnerships: experience in building and nurturing strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and drive growth.
- Innovation: Support the development of new products and lead the marketing of innovation.
- Kids and Youth Marketing: In-depth understanding of marketing to kids and youth, develop and execute strategies that resonate with this dynamic market.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Education: Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
- Experience: 4-5 years of experience in branding, marketing, or related fields.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
- Decisiveness & Action: Ability to make decisions quickly and take initiative.
- Persuasion & Influence: Strong ability to persuade and influence stakeholders across various levels.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and convey information effectively.
