A wonderful, fully remote, job opportunity for a senior Digital Strategist has opened up at a global digital ad technology company. We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Digital Strategist to coordinate various digital mediums and assist in reaching specific goals. The Digital Strategist will be tasked with analysing user experience data, initiating digital projects, reporting on planned and current strategies, leading effective digital marketing strategies and ensuring that projects are executed within budget. You will play a pivotal role in growing our business, customer base, and improving user experience. For this position the candidate should have and in-depth knowledge of all facets of digital marketing, ranging from campaign optimisation to new emerging technologies, the ability to understand how campaign strategists build complete customer journeys that connect data from all touchpoints to create a single customer view and the ability to get clients to grasp how our bespoke analytics tools track customers across multiple devices in real-time and drive better returns on ad spend (ROAS). You will also need a strategic mindset with a solid ability to link qualitative and quantitative information to make actionable recommendations to the team and the ability to resolve a wide range of challenges in elegant and creative ways.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse, monitor, optimise, report, and coordinate performance of all Digital Marketing channels (Good AdWords, SEO, Display Marketing, email/SMS/video marketing, Social Media Marketing etc.)
  • Explore new channels as well as look into new ways of reaching a specific target audience and maximising the results our clients get from their advertising budgets
  • Monitor and manage the performance of websites’ landing pages metrics and lead the improvement of user experience
  • Work closely with an in-house team as well as outsourced service providers and partners. Evaluate and implement improvements on digital strategy
  • Research the latest digital tools and interactive trends
  • Create integrated and cost-effective digital strategies
  • Drive value for the organisation
  • Analyse and report on digital campaigns
  • Analyse customer and user data
  • Engage with clients, sales teams, and management
  • Map out how digital assets will be optimised for business results
  • Define and action digital events.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communication Science or equivalent
  • Marketing Professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Google and Facebook’s advertising platforms
  • Previous experience in the digital marketing or media agency environment: Google Analytics (Google certification would be a bonus), Google Ads and Facebook Ads managers, Managing a business Facebook page, Facebook Business Manager
  • Able to clearly define and articulate what is: Programmatic Advertising; Google Ad Auction; Ads Relevance Score; A good landing page; The difference between Exact Match, Broad match, phrase match, exact match modifier, and Broad match modifier, A true view ad; The difference between a Facebook ad and a boosted post; The difference between a click and an outbound click; Google Tag manager; The partner network, ROAS; Search Impression Share; and Brand Safety
  • Experience in advertising on the following channels: Google Search, Google Display, Google Partner network, YouTube, Google Apps, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and FB Partner network
  • Have a thorough understanding of Google and Facebook’s policies and preferably your direct contacts at these institutions (and other global platforms) that can provide you with insights and assistance on the projects you’ll be managing.
  • Google Ads certified – Search, Shopping, Display, Video, Apps
  • Google Analytics certified
  • An informed opinion on the future of digital marketing after the end of the “cookie” and on the threat to privacy posed by digital marketing
  • A proposed solution(s) for tracking and analytics in a privacy-centric world
  • Understand how to measure traffic to store campaign and you have a good understanding as to how to optimise an offline in-store campaign
  • Understand the importance of succinct reporting and case-history analysis
  • Facebook certified – Badged Associate & Professional will be preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to take initiative and proactively solve problems
