We have an amazing opportunity for a talented Mid-Senior Video Editor/Motion Designer (2D) to work at an Integrated Creative agency near Cape Town’s city centre (and you’ll get parking too which is a big plus).
The Video Editor/Motion Designer naturally comes with a good eye for that vital detail, loves everything tech and animation related, and wants the opportunity to impress with ideas and concepts while being ‘seen’ and not just a number in a big studio.
You are totally comfortable working across Social Media formats too as required. You’ll be working hand in hand with other creatives to produce deliverables.

Responsibilities
- Working with a team including the Creative Director; you will be responsible for the creation of leading motion design work.
- You’ll be producing presentations, asset production; visual mock ups and motion design execution
- You will work closely with creative team, Client, client service and production/traffic to meet deadlines
- You’re a team player able to build good relations with client and people in the studio with the goal to achieve great creative work
- Ensuring you work as efficiently and possible to produce good work.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification from a recognised institution and or relevant work experience
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in Motion Design (your graphic design foundation is a plus)
- After Effects /Final Cut/Premier Pro – the best efficient use of the tools of your trade
- Able to work independently in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
- CC Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator – should be comfortable
- Microsoft: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Keynote – exposure will be useful
- Design sensitivity for interesting formats and layouts
- An excellent team-player. You’re all about growing and learning
- Positive, can-do attitude
- A thorough understanding of motion and animation as well as digital design and it’s uses on all major social platforms.
