Digital creatives look sharp! We have a fantastic on-site opportunity for a Mid-weight Digital Designer to join the vibrant team at a full-service, creative ad agency in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs.
In this super role, the Digital Designer will be responsible for the effective production, creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform Digital work and ads. This ranges from responsive sites and emails to banners, mobile/tablet applications and microsites.
The successful candidate will work closely with the client service team as well as the creative team to successfully convey a message using type, photography, illustration and colour across different ads media including online and cross-platform Digital work.
You will have a keen eye for detail together with a highly creative mind. It is also vital that deadlines and their delivery are strictly adhered to. As Digital Designer you will be required to edit and manipulate ad layouts according to the clients’ specifications and must be able to communicate clearly with management to determine the appropriate direction of a project.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Certificate/Diploma/BA Degree specialising in Multimedia Design
- 3 to 5 years’ previous experience in a Digital field
- Hands-on experience with software like Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere Pro
- Established aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts
- Bias towards accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation
- A reasonable understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
- Experience working in UI/UX designs – advantageous.
