Design your next big move! We have a superb on-site opportunity for a proactive Mid-weight Graphic Designer to work through-the-line at a top multidisciplinary creative studio in Cape Town.
 
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer with strong eye  for layout and typography – working across print and digital media to join a dynamic team of creative makers. You’ll work on a range of projects, from branding and campaign design to marketing materials, packaging, and digital assets, ensuring all creative output is well-crafted, engaging, and aligned with brand objectives.
 
This is a hands-on role for a designer who is comfortable working independently and collaboratively, ensuring high-quality execution across multiple formats. You’ll be working amongst a team of designers, art directors, and strategists developing and refining creative work that is visually strong and strategically effective.
 
The agency is a multi-disciplined, in-house creative studio delivering 360° solutions—from through-the-line advertising and video production to post-production and 2D/3D animation. Craft, collaboration, and innovation, as well as creating work that’s as smart as it is impactful.

Responsibilities
 
    • Design for multiple formats – Create high-quality designs across print, packaging, branding, digital campaigns, and marketing materials.
    • Ensure Brand consistency – Work within and evolve brand guidelines to maintain visual identity across all touchpoints.
    • Develop & refine creative work – Collaborate with senior creatives to execute and refine campaign visuals, layout designs, and brand assets.
    • Work across digital & print – Adapt designs for social media, websites, presentations, and traditional media.
    • Support production processes – Prepare files for print, digital production, and motion projects, ensuring technical accuracy.
    • Stay current – Keep up with design trends, typography, and emerging creative techniques to bring fresh ideas to the work.
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
  • Industry relevant qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer in an agency or in-house creative team.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing branding, campaign work, typography, and both digital and print design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects is a bonus).
  • A solid understanding of composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to work efficiently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for craft.
  • A collaborative, problem-solving mindset—someone who enjoys working in a team to create high-quality, well-executed designs.
  • Bonus: Basic animation or experience working with motion graphics.
