We have a fabulous, in-office opportunity for a hands-on Account Manager/Radio Media Planner & Buyer at a full-service agency in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs.
This role calls for someone who thrives on coordination, communication, and keeping campaigns on track.
You’ll act as the vital link between client and agency, managing everything from daily client liaison to the delivery of advertising projects on time and within budget. Your understanding of client needs and objectives will be key as you oversee the administrative and campaign work while also taking the lead on Radio Media Planning & Buying for a major food retail account.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Certificate/Diploma/BA Degree specialising in Sales and/or Marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years proven experience as an Account Executive, or in a similar level sales/customer service role
- Experience in Radio Buying and Planning
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills, in at least English and Afrikaans
- Strong negotiating skills
- Ability to build strong and mutually rewarding professional relationships
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A strong business acumen
- Enthusiastic and passionate
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Knowledge of the latest advertising and marketing trends
- Proficiency with numbers, budgets and time management
- Ability to present ideas and problem solve.
