We have a fabulous, fully remote opportunity for a fashion-forward Mid-weight Social Media & Ecommerce Marketing Specialist at premier apparel group based in Australia.
 
We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on digital all-rounder to own the day-to-day social media, eCommerce, and digital marketing performance across a portfolio of fashion brands.
 
This role sits right at the intersection of brand marketing and eCommerce, driving digital campaigns, social content, customer engagement, and online performance – while ensuring every touchpoint is visually on-brand and commercially effective.
 
You’ll bring fashion campaigns to life across organic social, email marketing, and Shopify, with a strong focus on engagement, conversion, and growth. From building platform strategies and running promotions, to writing copy, managing outsourced paid agencies, reporting on performance, and liaising with international brand headquarters – this is a truly executional role for someone who understands both storytelling and sales.

The role is fully remote, but requires a few hours of daily crossover with Australia, meaning early starts in South Africa.
 
 
Responsibilities
 
Campaign & Activation Execution
 
    • Coordinate and deliver digital campaigns and bi-monthly brand activations with creative and operations teams.
    • Own and maintain marketing and promotional calendars, ensuring alignment with campaign priorities and timely deployment.
    • Support the rollout of campaigns across paid, owned, and social channels.
    • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth execution and on-brand delivery.
    • Assist with quoting, sourcing, and producing marketing materials and assets for digital activations.
 
Social Media & Community Management
 
    • Manage daily posting, scheduling, and engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook.
    • Plan and execute content calendars that reflect seasonal stories, cultural moments, and key brand objectives.
    • Curate and adapt content for each platform, maintaining consistency in tone and visual identity.
    • Source and manage user-generated content (UGC), influencer collaborations, and media features for social amplification.
    • Monitor and report on engagement, reach, and audience growth metrics, sharing insights weekly.
    • Maintain a consistent and high-quality posting cadence that drives audience interaction and awareness.
 
Paid Media Coordination
 
    • Manage relationships with paid media agencies (Meta, Google, TikTok), ensuring alignment with marketing objectives and brand tone.
    • Track performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CTR, engagement rate) and identify optimisation opportunities.
    • Oversee daily budget pacing and channel spend efficiency.
    • Collaborate with agencies to review creative results and recommend data-led improvements.
    • Provide weekly and monthly summaries highlighting paid performance, spend efficiency, and growth opportunities.
 
Email Marketing & CRM
 
    • Manage weekly EDMs and automated flows (welcome, browse abandon, post-purchase, win-back) using Klaviyo.
    • Build and schedule campaigns aligned with marketing initiatives and brand messaging.
    • Implement segmentation and automation logic to drive customer engagement and repeat purchases.
    • Monitor open, click, and conversion rates; share performance reports with actionable insights.
    • Ensure creative content, visuals, and tone remain consistent with campaign direction.
 
Shopify & Reporting
 
    • Manage daily operations within Shopify and headless Shopify environments, including campaign updates, promotional launches, and merchandising.
    • Oversee on-site campaigns, collections, and pricing updates while safeguarding margin targets.
    • Track and report on key metrics such as traffic, conversion rate, and average order value.
    • Identify trends and growth opportunities through data analysis and regular performance reports.
    • Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure stock accuracy and seamless fulfilment.
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Relevant tertiary qualification
    • 4+ years’ experience in social media, digital marketing, or eCommerce (fashion or retail preferred).
    • Proficiency in Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop.
    • Must come from a fashion background
    • Strong understanding of social media content, storytelling, and campaign management.
    • Hands-on, collaborative, and passionate about fashion, culture, and storytelling.
    • Confidence managing agency relationships and marketing budgets.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign and store performance data.
    • A marketing-minded executor.
    • Someone who thrives on blending creativity with results.
    • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and project coordination.
    • Passionate about fashion, digital culture, and modern marketing.
    • Able to start early in the morning in SA as you will need a couple of hours of crossover time.
