The Organic Social Media Manager is responsible for shaping and elevating the brand’s digital presence by creating compelling, on-brand social content.
 
This role leads the end-to-end social media ecosystem, crafting persuasive copy, planning and scheduling content, nurturing an active online community with a strong PR sensibility. You’ll manage influencer partnerships that authentically reflect the brand’s lifestyle values.
 
Through strategic storytelling, real-time engagement, and data-driven insight, you will enhance brand desirability, strengthen customer relationships, and drive meaningful awareness across all social platforms.

Responsibilities
 
    • Strategy & planning – Develop platform-specific social strategies aligned to brand positioning, campaign objectives, and audience insights.
    • Own the social calendar, integrating product launches, brand moments, PR, and seasonal storytelling.
    • Content creation & copywriting – Craft compelling, on-brand copy (posts, captions, hooks, CTAs) with a premium tone.
    • Brief and collaborate with creative teams to produce high-quality assets (photo, video, UGC, Stories etc.)  
    • Maintain consistent visual identity and messaging across platforms.
    • Schedule, publish, and optimise content across channels, including ad hoc hours.
    • Community Management & PR
    • Monitor and engage the community with prompt, professional, on-brand responses.
    • Escalate and resolve sensitive issues with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager.  
    • Amplify positive brand moments; manage reputation and advocate relationships.
    • Influencer & Partnership Management
    • Source, vet, contract, and manage influencers and creators aligned with brand values, in collaboration with the Marketing team.
    • Brief partners, track deliverables, ensure disclosure compliance, and measure performance (reach, engagement, conversions).
    • Performance & Insights – Track KPIs (reach, engagement rate, CTR etc.) and report actionable insights.
    • Budget & Content Creator Management – Manage budgets for creators and content; negotiate rates and track ROI.
    • Evaluate and onboard social tools for publishing, listening, and analytics.
    • Events & On-Site Social Activation – Lead social media coverage for brand events – including pre-event build-up, live content capture, and post-event amplification – while assisting with event organisation and on-site coordination.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Tertiary qualification or similar in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, or a related field.  
    • Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on experience managing social media for a brand (preferably in lifestyle, fashion, beauty, luxury, or premium consumer sectors).
    • Proven track record of growing engaged communities and delivering high performing content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn
    • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling, on-brand storytelling
    • Ability to conceptualise and execute social-first ideas, campaign moments, and real-time content.
    • In-depth understanding of social media trends, algorithms, cultural movements, and platform best practices.
    • Graphic design or video editing familiarity (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is a plus.
 
Essential:
 
    • Microsoft Office Suite (proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook expected)
    • Proofreading tools e.g., Grammarly, Hemingway  
    • Social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)  
    • Social media listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social)
    • Task management software e.g., Asana
 
Advantageous but not essential:
 
    • Experience with SalesForce Cloud Commerce websites
    • Copilot, Copy.ai or other AI writing models
    • SEO tools e.g., SEMrush
