Passion for fashion? We got you! We have a terrific hybrid opportunity for a creative Mid-Senior Marketing Manager with some experience generating content through AI at a top fashion brand and retailer in Cape Town.
 
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for all aspects of marketing the brand: social media, e-commerce, email marketing, content curation, in-store as well as their wholesale customers’ platforms.
 
We are looking for a digitally savvy candidate with a solid understanding of the brand’s specific, local target market. Someone who is also able to conceptualise ideas for campaigns and coordinate shoots, etc. This is a multi-faceted, hands-on role that calls for a dynamic Digital Marketer who is AI-ready.

Responsibilities
 
    • Organic Social Media Management: mainly Instagram, and grow TikTok (content ideation/curation, plan calendars, schedule posts, reporting)
    • Management of external suppliers and agencies
    • Content: Ideation/conceptualise campaigns, shoot direction, brief designer, write social media posts, etc.
    • Content generation via AI
    • Influencer management
    • Budget management (which includes influencers, agency fees, shoots, in-store collateral, wholesale customer digital requirements, etc.)
    • The Digital Marketing Manager will also oversee in-store marketing campaigns/collateral and work with retail partners.  This experience, however, is nice to have, and not essential
    • Manage the Marketing Assistant/Designer.
 
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Relevant tertiary qualification
    • 4 – 5 years’ work experience in Digital Marketing and working with influencers
    • An understanding of paid social (Meta TikTok), and manage the communication with the digital agency
    • E-commerce & retail fashion brand experience
    • Proficient on a Mac, Microsoft Word and Excel, Canva, as well as various AI tools
    • Proficient at running social media platforms
    • Hands on and able to work well under pressure
    • Self-starter
    • Good visual eye
    • Outstanding attention to detail.
