We have a fantastic in-office opportunity for a dynamic, Mid-Senior Marketing Manager at a tertiary education institution in Cape Town. This role calls for advanced expertise in Digital Marketing, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and strategic analysis.
As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for developing and executing Marketing strategies, managing campaigns, analysing performance, and overseeing various Marketing activities to drive brand awareness and sales for both the college and its Global division.
The Marketing Manager leads data-driven marketing operations aimed at optimising student recruitment efforts. Key responsibilities also include effective budget management, the development and growth of the marketing team, and collaboration with external partners to maximise return on investment and support the achievement of company objectives and key results and align with business goals.

Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Responsible for the management of strategic Marketing and Customer Relationship activities.
- Build and expand the presence of the College and its Global division.
- Oversee creative and strategic development and improvement of Marketing initiatives to ensure growth.
- Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company’s growth through Marketing initiatives
- Establish positioning in key areas, identify & streamline target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different markets, channels and segments for both divisions.
- Review the execution of strategic marketing campaigns from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration between marketing team, other departments and suppliers.
Strategic Reporting and Analysis
- Strategically analyse and report on Marketing initiatives to inform business opportunities.
- Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.
- Manage, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and optimisation.
New Business Development
- Assist in the execution of planning and coordination of business plans and the penetration of new markets and initiatives for the College and its Global division.
General
- Business Management: Strict management of Marketing budgets across the business and correctly and efficiently allocate budget to ensure return on investment.
- Team Development: Ensure the ongoing personal and professional development of the brand and marketing team
- Strategic Supplier Management: Manage strategic partnerships with CRM, PR Media, Web, School and Creative partners and continually optimise and test nurturing performance, channel performance and creative effectiveness.
Requirements
