Think you can out-think the box? We have a beautiful, hybrid opportunity for a Mid-Weight Conceptual Copywriter to join the innovative team working predominantly on global beauty brands at a creative production company in Cape Town.
This exciting production company is on the hunt for creatives from a traditional agency with conceptual experience to work predominantly on Social Media campaigns, mostly video content, but stills too. You will be responsible for ideation and copy for full end-to-end Social Media campaigns, Communication materials, Marketing content, and proofreading for exciting Global Beauty Brands.
We’re looking for a Copywriter who is highly conceptual in the social media context to team up with an Art Director to create killer conceptual content! You must be able to storyboard and direct on shoot.

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Industry relevant qualification
- 4+ years of experience as a Copywriter in a traditional advertising agency or creative studio.
- A portfolio showcasing strong conceptual thinking, strategic insights, and effective writing across different platforms.
- The ability to simplify complex ideas into clear and compelling messages.
- A deep understanding of social media branding, advertising, and storytelling.
- Experience in strategic thinking, ensuring messaging is both creative and commercially effective.
- Digital experience: Creative with a very strong understanding of the digital/social landscape.
- Proofreading experience
- A collaborative mindset – comfortable working with teams across disciplines.
