A fabulous independent Cape Town-based, creative boutique advertising agency with strong design and communications is on the hunt for a talented Mid-Senior Conceptual Designer for this exciting on-site role.
We’re looking for thinking, Conceptual Designer who can take ideas from ‘page to screen’ and design and art direct beautiful integrated collateral across platforms. Someone skilled at creating Brand CI’s and striking layouts

Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Recogised tertiary qualification in visual communications or similar
- A design-led creative thinker who can bring to life their ideas with expert flair
- A creative interested in strategic thinking who wants to leverage cultural insights to inform ideation
- Ability to ideate/conceptualise within a team environment – wanting to create head-turning and award-winning work
- Understanding all touchpoints of a campaign lifecycle including strategy, art-direction, design, experience and execution
- Ability to take ideas from ‘page to screen’ – to effectively drive art-based creative solutions for the clients’ brands
- Ability to design eye-catching creative presentations that excite and convert brand partners
- Award wins would be well received
- An expert eye for great design, working across the entirety of the Adobe Creative Suite and more, with advanced design-centric skills to take work from conception through to delivery
- A high-level understanding of the fundamentals of great design including knowledge of branding, CI’s, compelling layouts, typography & photo manipulation to create communications that standout.
- Skills as an illustrator are a bonus – ability to articulate a design-led solution for our clients – including mock-ups, sketches and mood boards
- Adaptable to different tasks, with a thirst to learn skills outside of your traditional to support a small and dynamic team
- Building relationships with external production partners and freelance creatives to ensure high quality on all campaigns
- Working collaboratively as part of a high-performance boutique agency team, with the ability to adapt at speed whilst still delivering great work.
