We’re looking for a Conceptual Mid-weight Graphic Designer to join a full-service creative ad agency in Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs in an on-site role, producing high-impact work across print, digital and cross-platform advertising.
This is one for a designer who can do much more than make things look good. You’ll take a brief, find the idea and turn it into compelling visual work that connects with the client’s brand – using typography, photography, illustration and colour to tell the story.
Working closely with Account Executives and the wider creative team, you’ll move confidently between print and digital, bringing sharp conceptual thinking, polished execution and serious attention to detail to every brief.

- Turn client briefs into strong, executable conceptual ideas that reflect their brand identities.
- Create effective print, digital and cross-platform advertising.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and the creative team to align work with client goals.
- Bring ideas to life through typography, photography, illustration and colour.
- Refine and adapt layouts accurately to client specifications.
- Communicate with management to keep projects aligned with the strategic creative direction.
- Stay current with design trends and apply them intelligently within a commercial retail environment.
What you’ll bring
- 3–5 years’ proven experience in a fast-paced design environment.
- A Certificate, Diploma or BA Degree specialising in Multimedia Design.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent aesthetic skills across typography, layout and colour.
- An exceptionally conceptual mind with strong creative and innovative thinking.
- Sharp attention to detail and a strong bias towards accuracy.
- A professional approach to managing time, project costs and tight deadlines.
