We have an exciting hybrid opportunity for a dynamic, Mid-weight Global Digital Brand Manager to work at a renowned Tertiary Educational Institution in Cape Town.
 
As the college’s Global Digital Brand Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing, managing and optimising the brand’s digital presence across all platforms to drive awareness, engagement, and enrolment.
 
We’re looking for a candidate with a comprehensive view of Digital Marketing, as this role oversees paid and organic media initiatives, web management, CRM communications, brand content, and digital customer experience improvements. You’ll work across digital campaigns, CRM systems, analytical tools, website management (WordPress), SEO optimisation, and Paid Media on Google and Meta – all while keeping multiple projects moving with strong project management skills. Experience within the education sector will be a definite advantage.

Responsibilities
 
 
Digital Platform & Paid Media Oversight
 
    • Growth in reach, engagement and CTR across platforms
    • Delivery and optimisation of paid campaigns (Google & Meta) against performance targets (CPL, CPA, Return on Ad Spend where applicable)  Timely rollout of organic and paid content calendars
    • Quality of CRM communications measured via open rates, CTR, engagement and conversion
    • Effective collaboration and relationship management with agencies/suppliers.
 
 
Website & Management & Optimisation
 
    • Accuracy and consistency of web content
    • Improvements in SEO ranking and GEO visibility
    • Increase in website traffic, time-on-page and reduced bounce rate
    • Correct use of WooCommerce, GA, Wincher, Crystal Ball or similar tools for optimisation insights
    • Timely updates to course pages and landing pages
    • Documented UX improvements executed based on feedback.
 
 
Digital Customer Experience & Support Oversight
 
    • Resolution time for support/brand queries
    • Reduction in recurring user pain points through implemented changes
    • Positive sentiment shifts across digital platforms.
 
 
Reporting & Strategic Research
 
    • Accuracy and timeliness of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
    • Quality of insights and recommendations derived from data
    • Completion of three annual board reports with strategic interpretation of results
    • Research reports produced to identify trends/opportunities
    • Measurable alignment between reported insights and marketing action.
 
 
Creative Development & Brand Management
 
    • Quality and alignment of creative assets to brand CI and tone
    • Timely execution of marketing events/webinars
    • Successful new product launches (delivery of copy, imagery, assets, landing pages)
    • Consistency of brand messaging and visual identity across channels.
 
 
Budget Management & Financial Administration
 
    • Budget spend accuracy relative to approved annual plan
    • Timely invoice submission and reconciliations
    • No overspend/underspend without justification
    • Vendor payments processed within required timelines.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field.
    • 2-4 years’ experience in Digital Marketing or Brand Communications.
    • Hands-on experience with Google Ads and Meta campaigns (paid media).
    • Experience managing or updating websites via WordPress or similar CMS.
    • Working knowledge of SEO principles and website optimisation.
    • Experience producing or coordinating digital content (social, blog, web copy, CRM).
    • Familiarity with analytics dashboards (Google Analytics) and campaign reporting.
    • Experience working with CRM systems – preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM for lead management, communication workflows and reporting.
    • Experience working with external agencies/suppliers and internal stakeholders.
    • Education sector experience is a big plus!
    • Advantageous: exposure to online learning / e-commerce / education sector.
    • Strong digital marketing and platform management skills.
    • Basic SEO and analytics capability.
    • Project management capabilities.
    • Copywriting and content coordination ability.
    • Digital Campaign Management experience.
    • Campaign reporting and data interpretation.
    • Stakeholder and agency coordination.
    • Strong attention to detail and brand consistency.  
    • Proactive and solutions focused.
    • Creative thinker with commercial awareness.
    • Organised and deadline driven.
    • Strong communicator (written and verbal).
    • Collaborative and team oriented.
    • Adaptable and willing to learn.
