We have a fabulous on-site opportunity for a creatively minded Events Specialist to lead the planning and execution of brand-led events, launches, and activations at a dynamic boutique PR agency’s HQ located in Johannesburg East.
We are looking for a proactive individual with strong project management skills. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and can manage multiple projects from concept through to delivery. PR experience is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end event delivery, from briefing to execution
- Develop production timelines, run-of-show documents, and logistics plans
- Source and manage venues, suppliers, and vendors
- Oversee onsite setup, event flow, and breakdown
- Manage budgets, track spend, and handle reconciliations
- Act as a key client contact on event-related deliverables
- Collaborate with PR and creative teams to ensure aligned execution
- Coordinate guest lists, RSVPs, and staffing
- Compile post-event reports and insights.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Industry relevant qualification
- 3+ years’ experience in event management
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Experience managing budgets and suppliers
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and across multiple projects
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required
- Bonus: Experience working with PR teams or on lifestyle/fashion/beauty brands
- Detail-driven and solutions-oriented
- Calm, adaptable, and proactive
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Creative thinker with a good eye for detail.
