We have an in-office exciting opportunity for a Mid-Weight Graphic Designer to work on some fantastic South African consumer and fashion brands at the Digital division of a consumer brand Group based in Johannesburg’s Northern Suburbs.
The Graphic Designer will form part of an in-house creative team, creating static and video animation content for FMCG and Personal Care brands’ monthly digital marketing activities. This includes working on key marketing campaigns, promotions, and product launches across various platforms, including website and social media.
Additionally, the role involves efficiently implementing feedback and change requests from the Group Creative Account Manager and marketing brand teams.
This super role reports into the Creative Officer.

Responsibilities
- Monthly Social Media Content Creation
- Design social media and/or digital content in line with requirements and strategy outlined and approved by brand teams in the overview documents
- Apply changes requested in a timely manner to ensure the final approved content is available for scheduling and use before the new month begins
- Ad hoc design: Provide design services to the Group as the need arises, in line with brand objectives and business needs, to ensure that the standard of graphic work on our own- and third-party platforms is maintained to a high quality.
- Design digital content for Business Units for display on brand websites and other platforms.
- Assist with the design and update of website imagery for Mid- and Final Year Results.
- Intranet Graphics Library Updates
- Loading new products/packaging updates to the internal Graphics Library as needed & ensuring they are kept up to date ahead of Mid- and Final Year Results.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Diploma/Degree/Visual Communications Qualification in Graphic Design
- 3 – 5 years Graphic Design experience
- Video / Animation creation and/or editing skills
- Adobe Creative Cloud experience
- Able to create engaging content for social media.
