Responsibilities
 
Maintain & Nurture Client Relationships
 
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and building strong, long-term relationships.
    • Understand client needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored production solutions that align with client objectives.
    • Regularly communicate with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction throughout the production process.
 
Creation of Production Solutions & Budgets
 
    • Collaborate with clients, content manager, and other stakeholders to develop creative production solutions that meet project goals and budget constraints.
    • Create detailed production budgets, including cost estimates, resource allocation, and scheduling, while ensuring profitability and cost control.
 
Booking of Crew & Negotiations
 
    • Identify and select appropriate crew members, including camera operators, directors, editors, and other production personnel, based on project requirements.
    • Work towards building a collective of crew who understand the agency’s way of working and style of delivery.
    • Negotiate contracts and rates with crew members and external vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with budgetary guidelines.
 
Payments, Recon & Financial Control
 
    • Manage project finances, including processing crew payments, reconciling expenses, and maintaining accurate financial records.
    • Conduct regular financial analysis, monitor project budgets, and provide reports on project financial performance to stakeholders.
 
Pre-Production & Final Delivery
 
    • Oversee pre-production activities, including script development, location scouting, casting, and equipment procurement.
    • Coordinate the production process, ensuring efficient workflows, timely delivery of assets, and adherence to quality standards.
    • Collaborate with post-production teams to oversee the editing, sound design, graphics, and final delivery of projects.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Relevant qualification
    • A minimum of 7 years’ experience working in production
    • Someone who understands the difference between the content world and the commercial world
    • People management skills, experience managing a team
    • Post-production understanding
    • Problem solver
    • Highly organised
    • Driven, with the ability to take charge and drive projects
    • Hands on management style, not afraid of getting your hands dirty
    • Passionate about production
    • Loves sports – a plus!
