We have a healthy hybrid opportunity for an energetic Marketing Coordinator with experience within the sport/health/wellness sector at an innovative, fast-growing health food & wellness brand based in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs.
 
We’re looking for a fast-paced, health-conscious go-getter to jump into the role of Marketing Coordinator at this thriving health brand that lives and breathes the active lifestyle. With a fresh new product in their portfolio aimed at sporty, on-the-move consumers—think marathon runners, triathletes, and gym regulars—they need someone who gets the space and can speak the language.
 
You’ll coordinate retail-linked promotions and in-person brand activations, keep the organic social media presence energised and engaging, and ensure the e-commerce site is on point (including basic back-end updates while keeping a sharp eye on brand visuals and functionality).
With 4–5 years’ marketing experience under your belt, you’ll be confident managing external partners and juggling multiple projects using project management tools like ClickUp
with calm efficiency and strong follow-through.

Note: This is a hybrid role with 1–2 days in-office.
 
 
Responsibilities
 
    • Coordinate workflows with paid media, email marketing, and creative agencies/freelancers
    • Manage briefs, brand assets, timelines, and ensure messaging consistency
    • Oversee basic campaign reporting and performance insight collation
    • Manage and implement content calendars, schedule posts, and handle day-to-day social media community engagement
    • Plan and coordinate giveaways, influencer collaborations, and content creation
    • Organise and oversee on-the-ground promotional activities, activations, and sampling events
    • Manage relationships with external promo teams, freelancers, and ambassadors
    • Monitor and track marketing spend against budgets
    • Support in curating visual content, photoshoot mood boards, and creative direction.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Industry relevant qualification
    • 4-5 years’ experience in a marketing coordinator, brand assistant, or agency liaison role
    • Experience managing external partners and coordinating activations is essential
    • Exposure to budgeting or campaign metrics tracking
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and vendors with calm efficiency
    • Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented
    • Aesthetic sensitivity to brand tone and visuals
    • Comfortable with Canva, basic Adobe tools, or guiding freelancers
    • Familiarity with ClickUp, Shopify, or similar platforms  
    • A health-conscious mindset with enthusiasm for wellness and ethical living
    • Young, energetic, and in tune with digital culture and trends
    • Self-motivated with a problem-solving attitude and collaborative spirit
    • We’re looking for someone who has an active lifestyle, as a lot of focus of the role will be on a new brand in that sector .
