As Marketing Executive, you will manage a creative team, shaping the marketing strategies for premium footwear, accessories, and clothing brands that are an established part of South Africa’s fashion scene.
In this hands-on position, you’ll be the driving force behind the group’s digital marketing and influencer strategies. The focus is on innovative, digital-first campaigns that get results. Responsibilities
- Breathe Life into Brands: Translate store and product brand portfolio into captivating visual merchandising and digital marketing strategies that increase brand awareness and sales.
- Inspire with Vision: Drive marketing initiatives that build a balanced and thriving portfolio of fashion-forward brands, engaging consumers in ways that resonate and inspire.
- Empower Your Team: Develop and mentor a creative, commercially savvy marketing team that delivers excellence across digital, social, and visual platforms.
- Drive innovation: From digital campaigns to events and promotions, you’ll own the process from concept to completion, ensuring every project shines.
- Put the Customer First: Use insights to stay ahead of trends, ensuring our brands stay relevant in a rapidly evolving market.
- Excel in Digital & Social: Oversee media campaigns, social content calendars, and performance analytics, making data-driven decisions to optimise our reach.
- Craft Engaging Content: Lead the creation of visually stunning multimedia content, ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and delights our audience across social and digital platforms.
- Leverage Influencer Relationships: Identify and collaborate with influencers who align with our values, ensuring they amplify our message authentically.
- Maximise Budget Impact: Support and steer the marketing budget, ensuring maximum impact from every initiative.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Degree in Marketing or Business: Commerce Degree – essential
- Marketing Post-Graduate qualification – advantageous
- 10+ Years of Marketing experience
- 5 years’ experience as a Marketing Executive working in the fashion retail sector
- Robust experience and proven success in social media management and digital marketing strategies
- Leadership abilities, skilled at building strong, creative and results-driven teams
- Project Management skills, experienced at taking a vision from ideation to execution
