We have a fantastic hybrid opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Mid-Weight Multimedia Designer to join the studio at a well-established and vibrant TTL boutique creative agency in Cape Town’s Southern Suburbs.
As a versatile creative professional, you will be responsible for producing dynamic and engaging visual content across multiple platforms. Working within this fast-paced advertising agency, across a variety of FMCG, well-known brands, and Corporate clients, this role bridges conceptual thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll be tasked with transforming Marketing ideas into visually striking designs, videos, and motion graphics that connect brands with their audiences.

Note: This hybrid role works 2 days from home, and 3 days in office.
Responsibilities
- Creative Concept Development: Contribute to the ideation and development of creative concepts for integrated advertising campaigns, working closely with Art Directors, Copywriters, and Strategists.
- Design & Content Creation Design: and produce a wide range of multimedia assets including social media content, digital ads, animations, short videos, and presentations.
- Video Editing & Motion Graphics: Edit video content, create motion graphics, and develop 2D/3D animation sequences to support campaigns and digital storytelling.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all creative outputs are aligned with brand identity, tone, and campaign objectives while maintaining consistency across formats and channels.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work collaboratively with junior designers and other creative team members; provide guidance and constructive feedback when needed.
- Production Support: Prepare design files, mock-ups, and final deliverables for client presentations and production.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with multimedia trends, emerging tools, and evolving audience preferences to keep creative work fresh and competitive.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in a multimedia, digital, or advertising agency environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design and motion work across digital channels.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, composition, and colour theory.
- Strong skills in motion design, animation, and video editing.
- Experience in designing for both digital and social platforms.
- Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling outcomes.
- Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
