Responsibilities
Devise & Execute Client Strategy to Reach Their Business Goals
- Understand and translate how the agency’s Marketing & Comms Strategy translates into the client’s business goals
- Liaise directly with client when required.
- Liaise directly with team executing briefs
- Help create and approve the work plan based on your client’s requirements
- Ensure that the team understands the workflow and how their responsibilities fit into achieving client strategy
- Convene and direct the team to achieve engagement and delivery on the requirements of client – maximum leveraging of available resources in a smart and productive systematic approach to reduce wasted time and effort
- Consistently look for opportunities to show initiatives in a way that adds value to the client – anticipating their needs and delivering more than expected
- Consistently find opportunities to upskill in the areas of Tourism PR & MarComms and share that knowledge with client and team – podcasts, webinars, blogs, translating it back to the business goals of the clients
- Find opportunities to position yourself as an expert in industry whether through webinars, events, thought leadership, etc.
Traffic, Account & Project Management
- Create clear briefs on behalf of client and check the outputs against these
- Execute the agreed-upon workplan coordinating all stakeholders to exceed client expectations
- Flag potential opportunities and obstacles timeously with client
- Ensure that all supporting activities are concluded to a high standard, e.g., media reporting, follow-ups, reporting, updates
- Be the custodian of the client brand, ensuring that all outputs are on brand and are of a high quality
- Ensure you’ve coordinated all available resources in a smart and productive systematic approach to reduce wasted time and effort
- Ensure that all client files are updated in their internal systems if required.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Industry relevant tertiary qualification
- Able to verbalise client’s vision, mission, and business goals
- TTL experience: PR, Content and Digital
- Strategic, big picture thinker
- Excellent project management skills. Must be able to project manage campaigns from start to finish
- Experience working on TTL campaign (including Content campaigns)
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients before.
- Good understanding of Marketing, PR and Communications
- Travel, Hospitality, Restaurant, or Tourism experience – a must
- Agile and fast-moving
- Able to travel (not frequent though).
