We have a spectacular in-office opportunity for a Senior Integrated Brand Strategist to join the team of boundary-breaking makers at a multi-disciplined, in-house creative studio in Cape Town.
 
This in-house creative studio is looking for an Integrated Brand Strategist to drive high-impact campaigns that push boundaries and deliver results. You’ll lead the charge in developing strategies that not only inspire but also make a tangible business impact.

Responsibilities
 
Strategic Leadership
    • Develop and articulate innovative strategies that align with client objectives and market trends.
    • Translate market insights and data into actionable strategies that inform creative direction.
Collaboration
    • Work closely with creative, digital, and production teams to ensure strategy alignment across all disciplines.
    • Partner with clients to understand their business challenges, goals, and opportunities.
Campaign Development
    • Lead brainstorming and strategy sessions to fuel concept development for integrated campaigns.
    • Oversee the strategic framework for project execution, ensuring campaigns are both creative and effective.
Market Analysis & Insights
    • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to inform strategic direction.
    • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Mentorship & Team Development
    • Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
    • Act as a thought leader, both internally and externally, to build the studio’s reputation as a strategic powerhouse.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
  • Industry relevant tertiary qualification
  • A minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in strategic planning or integrated marketing communications.
  • Proven track record in developing award-winning campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market research into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly articulating complex strategies.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to challenge conventional approaches and inspire innovative ideas.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, in-house creative environments is a plus.
  • Passionate about creative problem-solving and making things happen.
  • Collaborative, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Adaptable, self-driven, and eager to embrace a unique way of working that balances creative vision with practical execution.
