A terrific in-office opportunity has opened up for a creative Social Media & Digital Content Coordinator with luxury lifestyle/interiors experience to join the team at a high-end décor furniture company based in Cape Town.
 
This is a hands-on organic content role for someone who understands how to translate premium products into polished, engaging digital storytelling across multiple platforms. From content planning and short-form video creation to caption writing, scheduling and campaign support, you’ll play a key role in shaping the brand’s day-to-day online presence.
 
This role calls for someone highly organised, creatively driven and comfortable using AI as part of a modern content workflow.

Responsibilities
 
    • Content Planning: Plan content calendars around product priorities, campaigns, launches, stock availability, and brand direction.
    • Social Media Management: Manage and schedule organic content across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
    • Copywriting & Captions: Write platform-appropriate captions, on-screen text, hashtags, keywords, and supporting copy in the brand’s tone of voice.
    • Short-Form Content Creation: Reels, TikToks, Shorts, and product videos using tools such as CapCut and AI where relevant.
    • Campaign & Launch Support: Support the rollout of approved campaigns, product launches, seasonal content, and anniversary or brand projects.
    • Blog & SEO Uploads: Upload blog content to WordPress, format correctly, add links and images, and apply basic Yoast SEO checks.
    • PR & Partnership Support: Prepare content, product information, and assets for media, editorial, showroom, and partnership requests.
    • Reporting & Competitor Monitoring: Track content performance, update reports, monitor competitor activity, and identify content opportunities.
    • Team Coordination: Brief designers, request assets, coordinate with the e-commerce team, and work with the paid media agency where needed.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • 3+ years’ experience in social media, content, or digital marketing
    • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills
    • Experience managing social platforms and scheduling tools
    • Comfortable editing short-form video
    • Basic Canva, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, and Google Sheets experience
    • Strong organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines
    • Interest in interiors, furniture, lifestyle, or premium retail
Bonus If You Have
    • WordPress and Yoast SEO experience
    • Pinterest content or SEO knowledge
    • Experience using AI tools for content creation
    • Experience in furniture, interiors, luxury retail, or lifestyle brands
    • A good eye for styling, product detail, and visual storytelling.
