We’re working on a fresh on-site opportunity for an energetic Mid-Weight Social Media Specialist & Content Creator at an innovative global boutique alcohol brand house based near Cape Town’s CBD.
 
This young, fast-growing company produces and distributes premium boutique alcohol brands enjoyed around the world, but all their marketing is driven from their Cape Town HQ. They’re known for crafting high-quality, distinctive products and building genuine connections with a youthful, adventurous audience through memorable, life-celebrating experiences.
 
In this role you’ll work on strategy, execution, and community engagement across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, and more, owning the digital presence of their premium spirits portfolio. You’ll be hands-on with both content creation and social media platform management, working closely with a small, ambitious team to elevate global brand visibility, engage diverse audiences, and grow your career in premium brand building.
 
They’re looking for someone creative, high-energy and in sync with pop culture; a hard-working, invested team player with a strong portfolio (and a standout, creative CV). A qualification from Vega, Red & Yellow, or AAA is a definite plus.

Responsibilities
 
    • Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with brand objectives.
    • Create engaging content that will be used across social media platforms.
    • Manage content calendars and publish posts across Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook.
    • Coordinate with the head of marketing to ensure cohesive visuals and messaging.
    • Monitor analytics, prepare reports, and optimise campaigns.
    • Engage with audiences, respond to comments/messages, and build online communities.
    • Stay updated on digital trends and propose innovative ideas.
 
 
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
 
    • Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
    • 2+ years’ experience managing social media accounts for brands.
    • Portfolio of creative content that you have created
    • Strong understanding of platform algorithms, paid media, and engagement tactics.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Creative thinker with an eye for detail.
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver campaigns.
