All systems are go! We have a terrific on-site opportunity for an experienced Mid-weight Studio Traffic Manager to join the busy studio at a hot creative agency in Cape Town.
Ideally you have strong digital expertise and experience working in a 2D/3D animation and motion studio. You’ll be the key link between creative, production, and client service teams, ensuring smooth workflow, managing schedules, and keeping projects on track.
The traffic manager will oversee everything from motion graphics and animation pipelines to digital campaign asset rollouts, making sure teams are resourced properly, deadlines are met, and quality is never compromised. This role is best suited to someone who understands the pace of a digital-first creative studio and knows how to keep multiple high-output projects running efficiently. Is it you?

Responsibilities
- Traffic & workflow management – Plan, allocate, and track resources across 2D, 3D, animation, and digital projects.
- Project coordination – Work closely with designers, animators, motion teams, and producers to streamline workflows.
- Digital production oversight – Manage timelines and execution for motion graphics, CGI, animation, and digital campaign asset rollouts.
- Prioritisation & problem-solving – Balance competing deadlines, optimise schedules, and remove roadblocks to keep teams focused.
- Process optimisation – Improve systems and workflows to increase efficiency in a fast-paced, high-output studio.
- Communication & collaboration – Act as the bridge between creative, production, and client service teams, ensuring alignment.
- Quality control & delivery – Ensure all assets are delivered on time, on spec, and at the highest level of execution.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Traffic Manager, Studio Manager, or Project Manager in a digital, 2D/3D animation, or motion studio.
- Strong knowledge of digital production workflows, including CGI, animation pipelines, and motion graphics.
- Experience managing digital campaign asset rollouts, from banners and social content to high-volume ad production.
- A deep understanding of timelines, workflows, and creative resourcing in a fast-moving digital environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills—able to juggle multiple moving parts without missing a beat.
- Clear and proactive communication—ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Trello, Monday.com, Asana, or similar).
- Bonus: Experience working in advertising, post-production, or an agency setting.
