A premium, global homeware brand based in Somerset West has a superb, hybrid opportunity for a Mid-Senior Group Financial Analyst.
As Group Financial Analyst you will assist with the analysis of the financial results of the group. We’re looking for a candidate who has previous experience working in a financial position within a retail environment. Additionally, auditing experience is essential as is a robust working knowledge of Power BI and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
This role reports directly to the Group Director: Commercial Analysis and Planning.

Responsibilities
- Help in reviewing and challenging subsidiaries financial results, forecasts, and budget (P&L, Cash Flow, KPIs) including deviation analysis
- Provide financial analysis for Retail and Web Channel, monitoring the results, tracking business KPIs and supporting the management in developing action plans
- Implement and control group policies and procedures
- Participate in projects in finance and accounting
- Coordinates group requests with the subsidiaries (information collection, summary, and presentation)
- Any ad hoc request within Group Finance function.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- Degree in Business administration or related areas
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a multinational environment
- Previous experience in a BTC business and Financial Planning and Analysis
- Previous experience in a financial position in Retail – essential
- Auditing experience – essential
- Excellent IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Extensive knowledge of Power BI – a must
- Fluent in English both spoken and written (any other language is an asset)
- IFRS knowledge is essential
- Able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
- Well organised – proactive, rigorous, and flexible
- Service-oriented and courteous
- Capable of working with minimum supervision
- Able to adhere to tight deadlines and work under pressure
- Good critical-thinking skills.
