We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager Previous experience with acquisition and retention of students. Someone who is passionate about music and education to create and oversee the development and implementation of the sales and Marketing strategy of the institution, including management of the Sales and Marketing Team.

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic development and execution of external and internal marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and increase student numbers.

The role requires effective management of marketing budget, development/growth of marketing team and collaboration with external suppliers to optimise return on investment and achieve the company’s objectives and key results.

Responsibilities

Marketing

  • Driving the Company’s marketing strategy and implementation thereof
  • Overseeing the Company’s advertising campaigns
  • Responsible for the management of strategic Marketing and Customer Relationship activities
  • Build and expand the presence of the company and its brands
  • Oversee creative and strategic development and improvement of Marketing initiatives to ensure growth.
  • Managing the Company’s website
  • Overseeing the Company’s public relations campaigns
  • Generally monitoring and overseeing the Company’s profile and good reputation.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Reporting and managing company’s sales targets
  • Analyse and report on Marketing initiatives to inform business opportunities
  • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies.

Communication

  • Overseeing internal student marketing and communications and issues of student satisfaction, as well as the retention of students between years of study
  • Dealing with all general communication with staff and students
  • Engagement and management of existing and past students’ activities and concerns including communication
  • Overseeing internal student marketing and communications and issues of student satisfaction, as well as the retention of students between years of study.

Staff Management

  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the marketing teams.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Relevant degree and qualifications
  • 3+ years in a similar role, within the Private Education Industry
  • Previous experience with acquisition and retention of students
  • A high level of communication and listening skills
  • The ability to motivate and build rapport with people
  • Flexibility and adaptability, depending on the Company’s needs at any given time
  • An empathetic, non-judgmental, and ethical approach
  • The ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • The capability to work under pressure
  • Organisational skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with information technology, especially CRM software used by the   Company
  • The capability to manage and work with data
  • Capability in planning (both strategy and events)
