We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Food Stylist with a culinary background to work on leading retail food brands at a Creative agency in Cape Town. We’re in search of a skilled individual who has 2-3 years’ experience, ideally from an agency or retail background.
As a Food Stylist, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing and delicious culinary content for clients. In addition to styling, you will be responsible for running with a project as well as recipe development. We’re looking for a foodie who understands cooking, ingredients, and recipes. As such a culinary background/training/education is important to this position. You must understand how to plate beautifully.
This position requires a creative individual with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding environment. If you have an eye for detail and a passion for making food look as good as it tastes, we want to hear from you!
Requirements
The successful candidate must have/be:
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in a food styling
- Culinary Diploma or 2-3 years of culinary experience
- Content development skills will be advantageous
- Professional manner
- Pride in work with attention to detail
- Passionate about food

- Independent and self -motivated
- Confident and proactive
- Solution and deadline driven
- Ability to adapt (any environment, systems, processes, and procedures)
- Good time management.
