We have a terrific, on-site opportunity for a Junior to Mid-weight Brand Manager at a popular restaurant brand chain, that is part of a national Group – the position is based in Cape Town.

Your role will be to champion the brand, supporting franchisees and growing sales using your breakthrough marketing ideas. You’ll be responsible for advocating for the most relevant channels to reach and engage customers authentically. You will drive menu designs, oversee digital marketing platforms including loyalty apps, and social media.

The role will also see you promoting impactful community involvement while managing the marketing budget seamlessly.   • Develop Brand, PR management strategies to build brand power and support brand financial targets
  • Drive compelling creative development of communication assets and best practices
  • Manage social media ecosystem for consistency, cut-through
  • Drive market automation – personalised data communication
  • Market data and trend analysis including consumer insights to influence strategy
  • Understanding the Restaurant/Franchisor environment
  • Leveraging the right communication channels in terms of traditional and digital marketing
  • Project management
  • Agency and Service provider management (day to day running and legal agreements)
  • Budgeting and forecasting – fiscal discipline.


The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Degree in Marketing or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years on the job experience
  • Prior experience within a similar role – a plus
  • At home using technology tools like MS Teams, Magnetic Traffic tool, etc.
  • Curious by nature and keep connected with what happens in the world around you
  • A fan of the brand
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal) and are strong in presenting
  • Possess strong influencing skills and are good at negotiation
  • Able to work well with diverse people and teams
  • Display evidence-based decision making and analytical problem-solving
  • Attention to detail with strong project management ability, able to run multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adapting/responding to change
  • Self-starter with grit
  • Forward thinking and have examples of big picture thinking in your career.
